The heart behind Alsterschleuse
Meet Marsel and Tina Oroshi: husband and wife, business partners, and the hosts who make every evening feel like coming home. Marsel is the owner and head chef. He believes in simple rules: the best ingredients, time-honored techniques, and the look on a guest's face after the first bite.
Tina leads the front-of-house team and is the first smiling face you will see when you arrive. She takes care of reservations, celebrations and all the little things that turn a good dinner into a great evening.
Together, they have turned their home by the Alster lock in Tangstedt into a place for families, couples, friends and business guests – whether it is a Sunday lunch, an anniversary or a wedding reception for up to 200 guests.

Our restaurant sits in one of the loveliest spots in the Stormarn district: where the river Alster runs through the lock and walkers, cyclists and day trippers pass by. In summer you sit outside on the green terrace, in winter by candlelight in the warm dining room.
We are the restaurant for the Sunday roast with the family, for an anniversary dinner for two and for the big celebration with up to 200 guests. What all these occasions share: you should leave the way you come back from Italy – full, relaxed and already planning your next visit.
